just a follow up - I still haven't heard from the other 2 limo/bus companies I contacted in Ft. Lauderdale. I think once we get inside that 1 year time span hotels and other companies will be more willing to quote prices, etc.

O MY GOODNESS!!!!

Did everyone go on vacation and forget to tell me??? If you did, I hope you're having a good week. Louise and I are going to North Georgia for the next 5 days. We live in Columbus which is 100 miles south of Atlanta and the North Georgia mountains are about 125 miles north of Atlanta. One of Louise's cousins has an A-Frame cabin on the backwaters of one of North Georgia's mountain rivers and it's ours for the next 5 - 7 days. All the mountain fairs - crafts and all that jazz - take place over the weekend so we're just going to ride around and check out all the mountain "folk" stuff.
