Deanna34769
I have not read all 192 pages yet... so what are you all doing for excursions if you have planned anything yet?
cruisetarp
We haven't really discussed excursions yet Deanna. This will be the first time to these ports for quite a few of us so any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Deanna34769
Hi guys... here is what we have so far. Let me know is anyone is interested... ANTIGUA (Linda, Phil, Bobby, Mark, Betsy, Deanna, Barb, Mark)http://www.creolecruisesantigua.com/LobsterLunch.html They only take about 12 people, and have to have a minimum of 6. Just send an e-mail to Katja at creolecruises@candw.ag and tell her you want to be on the list with Phil and Linda Bond for the Nov. 14, 2009 LOBSTER lunch snorkel. They need at least 6 people for the lobster lunch with a maximum of 16 people. Katja said she would contact me after the New Year for a deposit. Lobster Lunch - Full Day Tour 10% discount for all online bookings! • Time of tour - 9am to 3.30pm • Check in 8.45am at Jolly Harbour Marina (behind Grand Princess Casino). • Other pick up points include Hawksbill, Royal Antiguan, Coconut Beach Club & Dickenson Bay & the Cruise Ship Dock at St. John's • Cost from 1st November: US$120 per adult, US$95 per child aged 5-12 years old - children under 5 are free. ST LUCIA (Linda, Phil, Bobby, Mark, Betsy, Deanna, Barb, Mark) Trying to work out a tour that does an island tour while driving to Soufriere for stops at Diamond Falls and the Mineral Baths with time (about 20 minutes) to actually soak in the baths, then on to fond Doux Plantation for a tour and creole lunch. Looks like I have it all hammered out with Spencer. It will be $85 per person and will include: scenic drive to Soufriere(with strategic stops to sample local treats, ie creole bread, coconut brittle, jonnie cake& salt fish, cassava cake, etc.), stop at Diamond Falls and time for mineral baths, stop at Torilla Falls with a dip in the Falls, stop at Stills for a buffet creole lunch (menu changes, but may include local foods such as plantain, sweet potatoes, yams, with peas and a salad, grilled or stewed chicken, lamb, macaroni and cheese or spaghetti. A dessert is also included with a complementary drink), stop at Jalouise for swimming/snorkeling and viewing Pitons, back to ship. Spencer has also told me it is fine for us to wear our swimsuits with coverups instead of having to change into dry clothes at each of the falls and beach. We should bring beach towels and can sit on those in the van if we are still wet. ST THOMAS (Deanna, Betsy, Bobby, Mark, Phil, Linda, Barb, Mark) http://daydreamervi.com/ I have negotiated two options: for now I have booked a Private Day Sail for our group. As time goes by and we get closer and closer to 12 November 2009 and don’t have enough people then the owner will switch us over to a Group Day Sail. In order to book this as a private tour we will need a minimum of 25 people. Although I was talking to the owner literally 5 minutes ago and he said they probably could drop that minimum to 20 people. The cost is $108 per person not including tip for the crew. In order to get the group day sail I have already secured/guaranteed 6 people (had to do a minimum) if we get up to 25 people then it will automatically switch to a Private tour. Just like we did in 2006 the owners would like to open the tour up to the Wyndham guests. We did this last time and there were only two other people that joined us. FYI – November is not a very busy time for them so I have been assured this tour should be identical to the one we did before and we will be the only ones aboard. The cost is $108 per person not including tip for the crew. So regardless of which tour we get, we are going! WOOT! I have to say that this catamaran is HUGE and has lots of room! My favorite part is the water slide on the back and I still can’t get the vision of Renee' sliding down and flashing me (on purpose) in Hawksnest Bay! I still need therapy!! Also, talking to the owner’s (get ready DEE) we WILL have the same exact crew complete with Captain Doug!
