cruisetarp
Judson - when you go on a cabin crawl you actually go in and see the different categories of cabins that belong to various members of the crawl. You don't stay long, just look around, check out the lay-out of the cabin and then as a group move on to the next cabin. You sign up thru a roll call for your cruise and one person organizes the "crawl" and plans out the route. I'll let you know how is works out after I get back from the Jewel. This will be the first one I have been on and we are visiting 12 different cabins in 10 different categories so we will see how they differ. One is we can do the traditional thing of making a reservation at a restaurant and we all sit at the same table .. or two which is an idea i had which we try and take advantage of our hotel and cater an event there.... rough ball park estimates shows the cost would be about the same or less per person as a sit down resturant event.. suggestions comments? Joey - it probably wouldn't work for us. On our Panama Canal cruise we have 12 different categories of cabins available to be seen so that will be fun. Joey - would the hotel have a place to accomodate all of us and the catering facilities? If so, it might be a quieter place for us to get together than a busy restaurant. Either way is fine with us - we just want to meet some of the Crazies I have been chatting with for so long.

sailingrose
One more year!!!!! Joey as far as eating we'd be fine with either but I'm wondering if there would be the right variety for everyone of food. Howie is a meat eater.......I'm not for example.
