cruisetarp
No food restrictions here either and we eat, and enjoy, all types of food.

cruisetarp
I sent a 2nd request for a quote to 2 companies in Miami and received no response so I have more or less crossed them off the list. I'm still looking for other companies and if anyone has any recommendations I would appreciate hearing from them. The Company I originally contacted in Ft. Lauderdale is still available @ $15PP each way from the hotel to the port. I'll keep you posted.
PATJUD
Judson .. wanted to suggest if you see a shore excursion that you like from Celebrity or any cruise line for that matter .... check it out on Shore Trips .. the same excursion with out the commissions.. just a thought.. Thanks I will study that site. There are no problems with food here. I do like seafood when given the opportunity and we're near water. Louise can't do beach time so we're going to want to be able to "sightsee" on all of the islands - take some kind of tour. She's not able to walk long distances so transportation has to be involved in the tours. We do get around - LOL!!!!
zebra
Judson, we're in the same boat try and keep out of the sun as much as possible - although i have found that it's just as easy to catch a tan shopping on the islands as it is lazing on a beach. We only do beaches if snorkeling is involved.
JoeyandDavid
My formula for relaxation and contentment.. Lounge Chair + Umbrella + The Beach + salt water + Cabana Person + food/beverages - Crowds -intrusive noise = Serenity/Joy
cruisetarp
Joey - your recipe for relaxation and contentment sounds great but unfortunately I would be burned to a crisp after an hour and miserable after that. I find I don't burn nearly as bad if I stay in Jewelry Stores while in port. lol
sailingrose
I'm with you Marylou! LOL However we might be blinded by the dazzle!

You are a real glutton for punishment. Two or three cases of sun poisoning taught me my lesson. I do envy those that can lay there in the sun for hours on end though. We hope to make a very brief stop at a few of the beaches along the way but not for any extended period of time.
