JoeyandDavid
The night before embarkation seems to make the most sense since everyone staying at the Clarion will be checked in by then. We can always have an unofficial get together on Saturday night for those of us staying 2 nights. Joey - have you made up your mind if you are staying 2 or 3? no i havent... but I am leaning towards 3 so that David can do key west or key west can do david... i get so confused about these things.... zebra
Joey - that's a great idea, getting together for dinner the night before we sail. MaryLou - I love the idea that some us could "informally" get together 2 nights before we sail..... and get to know one another - after all we sure have become like a family here on the board. Now I have a question which I'm sure you have all discussed while I was in SA. How do we get from the Clarion to the port and back to the hotel again to collect our vehicles? cruisetarp
Jackie - I have contacted a few limo/bus companies in the area but so far have gotten no responses. I don't know if it is too early or what the story is, they are just not answering my emails. I will try again with some other companies in a few days. In the meantime, I believe the hotel has some type of shuttle service available.
lashl
Jackie....About getting to and from the hotel & dock. You could jog, it's only about 12 miles!
JoeyandDavid
I believe the hotel has some type of shuttle service available. That is true..$10pp to the pier... nothing for a return though
zebra
Steve.... that's a joke...... the last time I jogged was 20 years ago, it wouldn't be a pretty sight now. I guess we could find out what a taxi would cost us, maybe a limo (split between 3 couples), but would they be able to handle the luggage? someone with the biggest vehicle could take all the baggage down to the port, come back to the hotel and we could all jump into a limo. just a crazy thought I guess..... we'd probably do better just taking the hotel shuttle. I believe super shuttle could handle 3 couples with luggage.... and you could reserve one for exclusivity
zebra
What is the cost of the super shuttle Joey?
JoeyandDavid
What is the cost of the super shuttle Joey? well i know when two couples took it from San Pedro to our house....a good distance to say the least ... it was less than 80 bucks for the private van(seats 10).. but this way they left when we said not when they were full... plus...we went straight to our destination instead of "stops"
