Joey - Do I understand correctly that we will take the hotel shuttle to the port and I should just be looking for shuttle service from the port back to the hotel and/or airport?

I found several shuttles that charge by the hour but they all require a minimum of 3 - 5 hours.

I personally thing 10 bucks pp is a bit high.. i was hoping to be able to get something around 15 dollars a couple..I know that we are only talking about 5 dollars.. but thats what makes joey.. well joey..if no one else cares about 5 dollars then i wont make a fuss ..

The cheapest price I have gotten so far is $15 PP each way. That was for a 24 person mini bus with a small trailer on the back for luggage. The problem with that one was that was the price from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami port and they quoted me the exact same price from the hotel to the port - a considerably shorter distance.

Thats not goood...

well it may be the hotel has the deal which now raises the hotel charges from 98 to 118.per couple for the first night only then 98 dollars a night for any additional nights..

I will definately keep looking and see what I can find. Another problem is the few places that answered my e mails won't do two different stops - the hotel and the airport.

MaryLou - how can we include trips to and from the airport when people will be arriving/departing at different times? Trips to and from the hotel make a lot more sense for me....... maybe I'm missing something.

oh i didn't want you to worry about our transportation back to the airport...I assumed all were on there own.. i was just trying to help Jackie get transportation..from the pier BACK to the hotel

Made my hotel reservation today so we're all set. We'll only be there 1 night. Joey thanks again for working this out for us.

I was just figuring that we'd take a cab back to the hotel to get our cars. With the $$ we're saving on parking I figured it was worth it.

some will be driving some will be staying longer in Miami some will fly at different times.. way too hard to coordinate something like that...
