St Maarten was one of my favorite ports and I'm looking forward to being there again.

Louise and I are still interested in the TShirts. On past cruises with a group, the people in the group chose to wear the TShirts on the same day - usually the day we boarded ship or the day that we had a group get-together on board ship. The TShirts identified us as a group.

Louise can't do beach so at each port, we will be interested in some kind of island sightseeing tour - where we get to see parts of the island. We don't need to go shopping. But - we do like to really get a look at the island (geography, industry, life-style, etc.)

We hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas and now we're all looking forward to New Years Eve and a new year - 2009.

Well - Now that we are within the time for checking on prices to fly to Miami, I ran it last night and the flying price from Atlanta to Miami for 2 is $517.00 plus $95.00 (Tax and Fees) or $612.00.

I think I'll watch that for a while before making reservations. That doesn't seem to be more than I thought it might be.

Good news on the air fare so far Judson.

We are driving to Miami and I plan on making our hotel reservations along the way next month. I'm particularly concerned about securing reservations for the way home since it will be so close to Thanksgiving and many Floridians head back up north for the holidays from past experience.

Spent some time last night researching the ports and there sure are a lot of options at each port as far as tours, etc. While we might want to spend a very short time at the beach in each port, we also are interested in seeing all the sights. If you see anything interesting, please post here and I will do the same.
