PATJUD
Well - Now that we are within the time for checking on prices to fly to Miami, I ran it last night and the flying price from Atlanta to Miami for 2 is $517.00 plus $95.00 (Tax and Fees) or $612.00. I think I'll watch that for a while before making reservations. That doesn't seem to be more than I thought it might be. 306 pp sounds like a great price... but i must agree with the wait and see thingy It is a good price - about the same as it was the last couple times we flew into Miami and that was at least a year ago. I can't imagine it getting lower than that but I'll wait and see. I did notice when checking some of the flight times on days that I wanted to fly - November 7th and November 22 - there was a notation of only 1 or 2 seats left available on that flight at that time. cruisetarp
Judson - glad the price hasn't gone up too much since last time you flew into Miami. I think everyone should remember that we will be returning home during Thanksgiving week so travel arrangements may be a bit hard to come by. Even driving, we will be making our hotel reservations soon to be sure we have rooms along the way.

cruisetarp
Fellow cruisers - it's 2009 and we are going to cruise THIS year. Lots more room for anyone thinking about this cruise. It's sure to be a great one with a great ship, great ports and most of all great company and lots of fun.
cruisetarp
I just finished making folders for all the ports we will be visiting and now I'll begin collecting information on things to do and things not to miss. How do you research the ports we will be visiting and how do you keep all the information handy?
zebra
MaryLou - I usually save all my research into my "Favorites" on the computer.
JoeyandDavid
How do you research the ports we will be visiting and how do you keep all the information handy? it is at minimum a 3 step process..1 step is to make bookmark folders on my computer for each of the ports of call we are interested in... 2nd step is to google each port and see what comes up... (if i see something interesting I then google it as well)anything i come across THAT POSSIBLY could be information i bookmark the page in the appropriate folder. 3rd step is to scour each folder for ideas.. when i have 2-4 ideas I then run theses ideas by David for discussion.. thats how we start.... and then sometimes we just "wing" it
PATJUD
I guess we all do a bit of the same thing. I also like to see the tours being offered from the ship.
lashl
I usually do a minimum amount of research on each island and then figure out what to do. Sometimes we book excursions on the ship, others we just get off the ship and do something based on what the locals recommend. Either way I'm happy and just glad to be there.
