JoeyandDavid
The fact of being locked on a ship holding 3000 people, many, many of which will be children had absolutely no bearing on our decision! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
cruisetarp
Steve - glad you decided to sail with us and didn't cancel. This is going to be a fantastic cruise. I've been looking forward to meeting you and Lynda.
PATJUD
I just found this information on what other ships will be in port the same time we are. This might help in planning your day. In some cases you may want to go ahead and book any excursions you might be interested in: St. Thomas - Emerald Princess St. Maarten - Adventure Of The Seas St. John, Antigua - We will be the only ship in port Castries, St. Lucia - Ventura Bridgetown, Barbados - Artemis Oranjestad, Aruba - Nordam and Westerdam Willemstad, Curacao - Westerdam Of course this is subject to change but it is the current schedule. I'm waiting to see what we can book from the ship. It's too early for them to have that info available yet. There's one in every household - LOL!!! Louise doesn't post either and I'm not a computer hog. She has her own set up so she could but doesn't. We haven't cruised since Alaska last year either and don't have one planned till the CruiseCrazies cruise. Our other cruising group has several this year but they keep going to the same places. The people are great fun and we've been cruising with them for 5 years but how many times can you keep going to the same places. Jeeeeeeeeesh- they just wanna get on a ship. I don't think they would mind if it cruised out of sight of land and just went around in circles for a week - LOL!!!
PATJUD
LOL!!! I also try to book cruises when school is in session - more adults and less kids on a ship. Now don't get me wrong parents and grandparents - I love kids but from afar now. I had my 37 years with 12 year olds when I was teaching. LOL - When I retired, I told everyone that I wasn't going to speak to anyone unless they were over 20. I was just joking and it sounded funny at the time. Don't blame you about the kids......I'm getting more and more like that each cruise. I love kids.....someone else's with parents who take care of them!
