cruisetarp
We're looking for something to do in Antigua - never been there before. Any suggestions?
JoeyandDavid
That is where we did Millers by the Se... from our review in October 2005 St. Johns, Antigua was OUTSTANDING. Millers by the Sea, was perfect place to unwind, enjoy the Caribbean Sea water. We arrived by 8:30 am and for almost an hour had the place to ourselves. Once again, a lounge chair was only $5.00 usd. In addition, cab fare from the pier was only $5.00usd one way but our driver Elijah, asked us what time we wanted to return to the ship and was there at the scheduled time to drive us back for an additional $5.00usd per person
cruisetarp
We don't do many beach days, but I think that on this cruise, St. Thomas will be a beach day. We were there on our last two cruises, and have seen about as much as we want. Of course, Cindy will want to save some time to do some shopping in St. Thomas. Last year we toured St. John, and that is one beautiful island. if you are only going to do one beach day i would suggest considering Millers by the Sea in St John.... excellent! (posted a bit later) after further investigation it turns out that that spot has grown in popularity since our last visit and may no longer be such a wonderful location... I was leaning towards Millers til your last post. Now I'm just looking for other options there. (Actually just trying to think of the Caribbean on a snowy Pa. afternoon)

sailingrose
We did the Pirate ship twice when we've been to St. John's. We had some time to stroll around after but didn't stay too long, just too crowded on the streets.

JohnG
I just realized that one of those sippy cups would be great for carrying a martini without spilling!!!
zebra
We loved St. John - nicer beach than Magens Bay, and when we went there, there were only the 12 of us from our tour. Perfect!!! We didn't do the town. There was also plenty of shade on the beach from overhanging bushes which was wonderful because I can't do sun for very long either.
