I went snooping around the HI Express website and found our reservation..added the rewards club number to our reservation

(so you should be able to find yours as well....you know my motto...trust but ..verify)it seems for a king non smoking our rate is over $50 less than the best Internet published rate (from their website) and we are staying 3 nights so I can move that saved money over to another category (most likely Casino ) and the planning continues...

Yeah - right!!! I can't set a total until much closer to cruise time. There are too many things to come up yet. Like the St Thomas cruise - if I had already set a budget - that would have been a totally unplanned expense right now - LOL!!!

Lynda does kind of the same thing but it is simplified. Her plan is spend money until the cruise is over, then you can stop!!! Just kidding, we don't set a budget but we do watch the totals each day. It's the jewelry that will get you!

I have the same spending pattern as Lynda. Once I leave the ship at the end of the cruise I don't spend any more money on travel expenses. Up until that time there are no rules.

I am not that brave!.. i have to have a ball park of expected expenses before going in...not knowing would drive me nuts
