55ChevyLady
Andrea and Deb... what is you favorite island or the island you are looking forward to seeing the most? GOSH! I haven't even taken the time to even write them all down to start researching everything! I would just go get a quick look at the first page at the roll call thingie and then get on a posting binge! LOL I was planning on going to the library and checking out some books, as I can't find my Caribbean Ports of Call book. had I been able to find that book then I would had bookmarked the islands!!!! but I do have my Cruise Vacations For DUMMIES book in my hands now, and it has a short section on ports so i am going to check up on those ports now! 55ChevyLady
For the benefit of those who have asked about dinner seating recently, at time of final payment one of the things I am required to do is submit to the cruiseline is a final roster, who the group leader is (Joey), seating requests, etc. Because it is a group, they will try to seat those of us who are requesting it together. Right now the stated preferences are: Main (early dining) Jim & Mary Lou (cruisetarp) large table Judson & Louise large table James & Donna medium table This looks like one table for 6 so far. Second (late dining) John & Karen table for 2 Joey & David table for 2 Andrea & Debbie (large table) Steve & Lynda (lashl) large table Rose & Howard (sailingrose) large table Paula Weibel large table Raymond (Rat) large table Howard & Cindy (rogue) large table There is only one table for 10 and it is set for the Captain’s table. So far, late dining would 2 tables for 2, and a 6 and a 4 hopefully side by side. But if we add anybody else that could change. In that last grouping I count 12 not 10. Am I missing something? i know Paula W is going by herself, maybe Raymond is too...that way you would get 10 Oh....OK!! but hey, don't quote me on that! 55ChevyLady
OK...I have GOT to tell ya'll what just happened to me...even if it makes me late... anyone ever see the movie "Captain Ron" ? there is a scene in it where the owner's of the boat get themselves locked in the boats shower because the mop falls over and wedges the shower door shut and then they break off the handle to the water in the shower and the shower starts to flood and they about drown...anybody ever see that...? everything just happened to me except breaking off the faucet handle and nearly drowning! I kid you not! Luckly it was just a dust mop and didn't weigh as much as their heavy duty ship mop and I was able to wiggle and jiggle it until it un-wedged! more to come later...my MOTHER just called and said I WAS LATE!
