This will be Celebrity cruise # 4 for us. Once on the Horizon to Bermuda and twice on the Galaxy - once to the Eastern Caribbean and the following year to the Western Caribbean. I'm really looking forward to sailing with Celebrity again.

MaryLou.. what is it about celebrity that you noticed and that you are looking forward to again?...

I think Celebrity was a quieter cruise than most we had been on. Service was just a little bit better and the whole ambiance of the ship was a little more "formal" than what we had been on. I'm not sure if they still do it, but they asked that you adhere to the dinner dress code in all public rooms in the evening - nice touch as far as we were concerned but a lot of grumbling about it was going on. In other words no running back to the cabin after dinner and putting the shorts back on.

I thought the service was more personal and loved that they were not hawking bingo and art auctions over the PA system all day.

I'm very happy that Celebrity is coming back to both Baltimore and NJ next year. We basically stopped sailing on them because there were so many other local options for cruising and for a while it seemed like Celebrity forgot about the Northeast.

Maybe they were just giving the NE a chance to miss them... I hope so... I wish them well especially with the run out of B'More..

The quiet elegance is what i too like .. having tea or wine in the cova and listening to music... nothing is more relaxing.. I may have 3 pots a tea a day on a sea day...

I am really looking forward to a more formal atmosphere on Celebrity....or maybe the word I'm searching for is more respectful. I did read in the brochure that Celebrity expects the "attire of the day" to be worn in all dining rooms and theaters during and after dinner. I hope they enforce that. That's one thing that bothered me on our last cruise is what some people wore in the theater - tank tops and shorts and baseball caps. I thought is was very disrespectful of your fellow passengers.
