I posted the link for the tee shirts on the first post of the roll call ... always look to post #(1)one for any new information..

And once again Judson, Thank you very much..

You're very welcome. I hope you guys understand me not just taking orders and dealing with everyone's shirts but doing it on line on an individual basis is so much easier. I worked with them to enlarge and redraw the logo and then to post the logo as part of their website order page so anyone that wanted one could order it. As I said - I think they are pretty nice TShirts for the price and I've already gotten one for Louise and one for me. I do plan, as I said, to get some long sleeve ones. So order away - I have nothing to do with the orders.

It's so interesting to find out about all the different liquor laws in different states. I'm so glad that I can buy some wine in Miami on the Sunday before the cruise!

We have liquor, wine and beer available here in supermarkets, convenience stores and some drug stores after noon on Sundays. We don't have "liquor stores" here.

OK, you want adult beverages, you have got to go to a "liquor store" or some old timers call them "package stores"

back when i was a kid Arkansas had what was called "Blue Laws" a long list of things that could not be sold on Sunday. just about everything except food and other neccesities.

I can remember the only time the Malls and stores like Wal-Mart, which was just starting back then, would be open on Sunday would be about the the last 3 Sundays before Christmas. and technically they were breaking the law then but the state overlooked it.

The Bible belt is not the only place that the Blue Laws are affecting. Pennsylvania still has quite a few in effect. For example, car dealerships will face hefty fines for being open on Sundays. It is rare to be able to buy a car in PA on Sunday.

You would think that in Detroit that the dealerships would be open every day of the week. NONE are open on Sundays and it's a rarity that you'll find many open on Saturday.

Interesting topic.....here in Quebec we have liquor stores open 7 days a week, but you can also get beer and wine at all grocery stores (also open 7 days a week) and at every corner "Depanneur" which is basically your 7-11. It is very convenient!
