sailingrose
Andrea we have package stores too. Growing up in NY we had Blue laws too. No alcohol on Sunday. Debbie that is odd that car dealers aren't open on weekends in Detroit of all places!
deb1220
Debbie that is odd that car dealers aren't open on weekends in Detroit of all places! Yeah, you would think they would close a day or 2 during the week and be open on the weekends. Go figure! Anyway Rose, you really should try that Black Box wine. It's as good if not a little better than the wine I usually buy. I bought it on sale for only $19.99....and that's the equivalent of 4 bottles of wine! sailingrose
Funny you posted about the wine Debbie. I was just thinking I was going to ask you if you still liked it the second day. Sometimes I like a wine one day and not the next........

Sometimes I like a wine one day and not the next........ I had a couple glasses again last night and it's still quite nice. I just wonder if Celebrity would allow me to bring that onboard because it's equal to 4 bottles.

No I haven't booked airfare yet. I'm going to real soon though! I've got my eye on this NW flight that goes from Detroit to Memphis and then from Memphis to Miami. Maybe you could meet me in Memphis The return flight is non-stop from Miami.
JoeyandDavid
and again, I know I am way over paranoid... no ...i wouldn't say that... now I was going off the deep end with this flu thing.. I was literally scared to leave my house this past week.... i had to pull myself together when i Finally realized that although the hype was strong it was for the purpose of driving home the "possible danger" it also reminded me that the infection rate for this virus is well below that in a a typical flu season.. to be honest Andrea that is another reason i booked my cruise on the mariner to fight my personal fears..they were making me crazy... and everyone knows I prefer to be Crazie! I don't think your paranoid.. your cautious... OK...I know this is a LONG ways off and I am being WAY over paranoid...but if this flu thing is still going on in Nov. what is everyone's thoughts about the Connie Cruise??? We are there no matter what.. we made final payment.. we booked our air.. we are there.. AND will our (my) travel insurance cover us if we choose to cancel???? Check your policy policies vary..
