rogue
You've been waiting much longer than I have, and it feels like forever. I just finished telling Cindy that I'm quite ready to go today.

Me too! this has been such a long wait but I'm sure it will be so worth it. I'm also anxious to see the shore excursions posted - just checked and still nothing. We still have a couple of ports where we have no plans.
rogue
We have a couple of questions. We have never used the ships laundry. Ha anyone used it and noticed thinks shrinking from their dryer? I'm sure that I will see things shrinking as the cruise goes on as it is (good food ). For 13 days, we will have to get something washed. Also, Cindy wanted to know what the women are doing for 3 formal days. Are you bringing 3 different dresses, or are you going to wear on e more than once? She keeps vacillating on this herself. PATJUD
I didn't think we had much choice about using the ship's laundry due to the length of this cruise. There's no way to bring enough clothes to last without washing/laundering some. I had planned on sending some things for sure. I'm glad we will be able to get away with shorts and short sleeve shirts each day. I can't get away with less than 3 bags for a 7 day cruise and I'm just not going to add a 4th. The prices are less than the laundry I use here at home. LOL - I remember the first 7 day cruise that Louise and I did out of Tampa, Florida. We drove down for a September Caribbean cruise and we had 6 suitcases of varying sizes. Man - Did we learn more about packing and dressing for cruises after that. It's even more restrictive when you have to fly. For Formal night - I'm sure that Louise is going to have a pair of dress black pants and 3 different dressy tops. I know she is not going to fool with formal dresses.
deb1220
I know I'm planning on using the ship's laundry at least once. As far as the 3 formal nights - I think I'm going to have 3 different gowns and/or cocktail dresses. I've got 2 now and been looking for a third.
