Actually, it is possible to get through a long cruise without doing laundry. I've done it a few times with no problems! On my most recent cruise with HAL, it was a 15 day cruise and I had to pack for a 50 degree temperature swing. I'm pleased to say I was able to do with it 2 suitcases, stayed within weight limits, and no onboard laundry!

I will be wearing 3 different formal dresses for this cruise.

As a side note, a woman I met on my most recent cruise, was able to get by with only one medium-sized suitcase! I was really impressed!

Your right that's impressive Paula! Not sure I'd want to have so few choices to wear however.

2 suitcases........15 days is pretty good too.

I think we'll have 3 suitcases for our 2 weeks away but will use laundry at least once.

I just got a "Schedule Change Advisory" from NW Airlines. Alls it boils down to is leaving 35 minutes later...less layover in Memphis....and arriving in Miami 5 minutes earlier. I'm glad they inform me of such things but it makes me wonder how many more of these 'advisories' I'm going to get.

YES - I'm very  glad that they keep you posted. That's why I signed up for the e-mail alerts. Why wouldn't you want that? I never booked online before - always had our TA do it. I'm learning!

Karen will have 3 formal outfits, and I have a tux and a white dinner jacket. We have used shipboard laundry in the past on a 12 day cruise, and I have 2 tux shirts but will need one of them redone on this cruise. I don't have much trouble getting everything into 2 suitcases and a carryon, and Karen does the same, despite having at least two different pairs of shoes per day! Heck, she has more bathing suits than I have shoes! She doesn't like to wear shorts or t-shirts. She has been a banker for about 35 years and just isn't comfortable in casual. Even pants are a very rare occurance for her, like when she had to wear jeans to go horseback riding last cruise.

We have had minor time changes on our flights with Delta. Leave 15 minutes earlier but get into Miami at the same time. I am ready to go now!!
