We have never sailed with Celebrity so it should be an interesting comparison. All of our cruises have been on Carnival.

me too, Steve...maybe we can throw our laundry in with some of those who are getting some free fluff and folds!

That's a great idea, Andrea. I don't think I have ever gotten a free fluff and fold! :ohmy:

Can't believe it but we are 4 months away from our Connie Goes Crazie cruise. Time to shift the planning into high gear.

We are just waiting to see the excursions in a few ports and decide whether to go with ship excursions or private ones. Still looking for a new gown but if not will drag out one of the old ones. Lists are made, all cruise wear is cleaned and hanging in the closet and we are ready to cruise.

4 MONTHS!!! YAY!

4 months ago today we had just returned from our last cruise. It makes me feel better to relate the time to something.....if that makes any sense :wacko:

We did our first and only Celebrity cruise this past Fall to Alaska. I'm so glad because I realized that the suite category would not be suitable for two weeks. I had already reserved on the Connie cruise but upgraded when we got home from the Alaska cruise. Of course by them the prices had changed a bit so it cost me a bit more since the pricing had increased but then it has even increased more since then.

I have plenty of the TShirts - Louise and I each have 4 of them and that includes one of the long sleeve versions. So like I said earlier - I hope you guys like the shirts cause we'll be wearing them lots - LOL!!! I have no problem with day dressing after we get into more southern waters but Miami in November is a puzzle to me. It can be summertime warm or it can be winter breezy and cold.

I'll be ready to choose tours when the site opens. Unless someone in the group works out another private tour, I'm thinking I'll just book from the Celebrity tour desk on line.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the Connie offers the program to deal with the luggage on the last night totally if you pay extra for it - That is to transfer the luggage to the airport and put it on the plane so you don't have to deal with it till you get to your home airport. We did that from the Alaska cruise and it was WONDERFUL. That eliminates looking for it in the cruise terminal, getting it to the airport, and getting it checked in at the airport. AGAIN - IT WAS WONDERFUL AND TOTALLY WORTH THE $20.00 FOR EACH OF US. You would pay that much and more in tips for handling the luggage after the cruise.
