We've never been to the Panama Canal either. That may be the next one we do, but I'll have to talk Cindy into that one. She doesn't quite get what's so interesting about it.

Loved the Canal.......everyone should do it once. I'd like to go back someday & do it again. I think there are some places you have to go twice to get everything out of them.

I'm looking forward to St. Lucia........It was our 4th port in a row and we were just too pooped to do anything there.......won't make that mistake again. It looks sooo beautiful!

O my!!

We were booked on a cruise for the week of Halloween last year that did the Panama Canal and I decided to save a little bit of money and paint one of the bathrooms in the house. Now - keep in mind that I had paid a painter to do all the rest of the house and I thought I'd do one bathroom. Cause - anyone can paint - right?? Well - I got off balance on the 3 step step ladder and fell off it and broke my arm totally in half. This fall happened one month before the cruise and we had to cancel it. Thank goodness for the travel insurance that I always get. We didn't lose a dime with having to cancel the cruise or the air. So - No, I haven't done the Panama Canal yet - but, I will some day - LOL!!!!

We've done the Panama Canal twice. Both times a repositioning cruise.... they're the best if you have the time, because they are quite lengthy. We did the Mexican Riveira (3 ports), Costa Rica, then the Canal, Panama, then Columbia, Cucacao, Aruba and St. Maarten - 17 days... it was awesome!

Rose - I'm really looking forward to St. Lucia as well.... I need to start with my research!

If any of use want to use private tour guides - or even share a private tour guide - we'll have to book real early to get them.
