hazelson
Ilove those little touches! I even tried to make a towel animal for our room steward - I managed a snake - now that's talent ;o)

PATJUD
I suppose one could live without any of the extra touches but why should we???? I love the towel animals. I look forward to seeing ours each night. I really hate to take them apart so if they are on the bed, I just carefully move them until someone takes them away - LOL!!! Judson, on our last Carnival cruise our cabin steward diligently made these towel animals each night, the first one was good but the next 6 were unidentifiable. Each evening DH and I would have such a laugh trying to "identify the animal"...... I must say it really was a good source of entertainment. The monkey is always my favorite. They hang it from someplace rather than laying it on the bed.
zebra
Joey, that's EXACTLY what Tony said when we were trying to guess. Why the "mouth detail" if it's supposed to be a monkey. I too agree, these wonderful stewards are so overworked as it is.... I'm sure it would be a relief for them to have to entertain us as well. I'm kinda glad that Celebrity doesn't make their stewards do the towel animals. We bring the chocolates home for my grandkids - because we have usually already had an adequate sufficiency of sweet stuff for the evening. TheSkipper
We to enjoy the little touches as does, I'm sure, most of the cruising world. Recently aboard the Quest the evening candies were made on board, so they were not wrapped in foil. So, they had to be eaten on the spot!! It was a rotten job but someone had to do it!! rogue
Here's a quick question: How many days have you spent on a cruise ship?
cruisetarp
Terrific question Howard. I have no idea at all but it does sound like a fun project to figure it all out.
rogue
I'm at 58. I'll bet that's nothing at all compared to some of our members.
