Cruise Question Of the Day

I adore hot coffee: 1/2 bold (regular) 1/2 bold (decaf). I drink it black. I've been told that I make very good coffee.

Jerry, on the other hand, is the ice-tea drinker. Again unsweetened. Definitely a black tea, no lemon, no flavor tea kind of guy.

At about mid-morning, I switch to water and stick with it throughout the day/night. Jerry might have a Coke or lemonade sometime mid-day.

Both of us, however, LOVE afternoon tea on the cruise ship. He'll go for the black tea: Earl Grey, China Best. I'll venture and try anything at least once. My preference is green tea, however.

Yes, it's in every vehicle we own. You never know when you might break down and duct tape can fix alot of things, so can panty hose, rubber bands, belts, a women's scarf, bailing wire, etc... O yes, so can regular mechanic tools! Necessity is the mother of invention.

I grew up vacationing across country with my parents, way before cell phones and AAA

Life was my highway..

Sail or motor on, :cool2:

I have never taken any type of tape with me on vacation. Duct tape? Where do you stop with what you pack? A screwdriver? A hammer? Nails?

I think if you really get into a situation where you need something like that, you call down to the purser's office and ask for assistance.

I am not talking about taking all that stuff on board, we do leave the bailing wire and rubber bands in the truck. If my husband need to put the bed back together he would call for maintenance, or then again...maybe not.

and Joey when you drive a 55 Chevy 2-Door and a 79 Jeep Wagoneer you need all the help you can get!!!

P.S. The panythose, belts, and women's scarf I mentioned were all stuff I would pack. You can always take clothing, etc and duct tape and wrap it around a leaking water hose and make it to a service station. Done it before on other trips..... So the clothing would go onboard with us, but not the tools or bailing wire....OK ....... I wouldn't want to give some poor porter a hernia carrying my luggage.
