Cruise Question Of the Day

We usually start on deck, but soon end up on our balcony. When sailing from New York, we usually stay up on deck.

Depends on the Port from which we are sailing. If we have sailed out of a port many times we are probably in the stateroom unpacking. Now how exciting is that? :blush:

Most of the time Howie and I will enjoy the sailout from our balcony depending on the location. From NY I had to be on deck to catch all the views.

I like to be up on the deck so I can see the sights on both sides of the ship!

Whew, I need to catch up...

What do we consider when booking a cruise? Probably all of the choices, with price for itinerary considered foremost. We like at sea days; we like more than 7 days total. So, if you can find me a cruise with lots of at sea days, going to at least one great destination for a fabulous price, you have sold me.

Spa and/or gym? Of course! I am a workout junkie. But I have toned it down tremendously. I use to wake up before the sun, walk a mile or two, take a class or two, return to the cabin and STILL wait for everyone to wake up. I am learning to sleep in. We all now walk outside at a leisure pace at least a mile after breakfast and another between lunch and dinner. Don't take that many classes now that some of the ships have eliminated them or are charging for them. But, I do try and use the weights. Marcy and I try to schedule at least one spa appointment. James has even been known to indulge in a massage. Jerry, however, couldn't be bothered.

Where do we watch the sail away? On deck with all of the other cruise crazies. We have been very blessed with excellent sailing weather and have not had to stay inside.

Usually I'm on the upper deck with other passengers with a sailaway drink. :thumbup: A great sailaway leads to a perfect cruise! :biggrin:

I also like to be on the top deck of a ship so that I can see pretty much both sides and all that is going on. Sailing out is usually a beautiful sight from the various "ports of call."

I like to cruise at a time when everybodies kids are in school and there are not many kids aboard ship - LOL!!!
