Hello Everyone,

Thank you for allowing me to ;post on this website. I am coming upon my second cruise with Royal Caribbean to Bermuda and can't wait. I have a question about the recieving of the cruise documents. When I looked on Royal Caribbean's website, it says that I have elected to receive them online, but my travel agent says different and that I will be getting the booklet from them. I am confused. If I am getting them through the travel agent, why did Royal Caribbean say I have elected to receive my documents online or vice versa. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Hi Nick

Welcome to CruiseCrazies®.. although I am not a TA, this is what I think I would in your situation. ....one I would call and confirm one last time with my TA that I will be receiving paper documents, two I would call Royal Caribbean and ask "Is my booking scheduled to receive paper documents" (you of course will need your booking number for Royal Caribbean representative to access your account)..and finally third I would try and print them out...if I could I know I have my docs!! If in fact you do get the ones promised by your TA then you can always disregard the ones you printed out ..either way You have your docs!!

Hi there... my personal experience has been every time we've booked through a TA we get "real" docs in the mail - when we've booked online then we have only had e-docs and had to print them. Maybe some other RCCL people could help you out here.

CaribeSun........you have computer access, so while you may receive your cruise documents in the mail, all you have to do is fill in and print out your Set Sail Pass on line a the Royal Caribbean website. You will need to go to the My Cruises area on the website, set up an account if need be, provide your booking number, and then you just follow the directions. You can enter all your information on line....like documentation, credit card to be used for your sign and sail card, etc. Fill out everything on line, and then you will be taken to a page where you can print out your Set Sail Pass. Print out the Set Sail page, present it with your id (passport OR raised seal certified birth certificate and government issued photo id) and credit card to the check in person. Takes a lot less time and gets you on the ship faster.

Personally, I fill out everything online, and only use the luggage tags provided in the documents (you can even print those out online I hear) and I am ready to go.

Enjoy your second cruise!
