Second generation of cruiser?

My parents never got to go on a cruise together. We took my Dad on his first cruise last Sept., he was 90!. He liked it so much we are going again this Sept. He really enjoyed it and is very excited about going again. Gives him something to look forward too.

My parents took one cruise together on Costa Cruises to the Caribbean in the '70's. They were never really "hooked" onto cruising. However, my dad was in the Navy. He talks fondly of the sea. So, I guess I get my sea passion from my dad.

Neither of our parents ever cruised. I joined the Navy to go to sea and got put into Naval Intelligence and never got aboard a ship, except for the Troop Ship that took me to Germany. I guess I'm making up for it now.

my parents did not.. however my dad's parents did.. (thats how they got to Ellis island)....

My kids should answer this. My parents did not cruise but i do, so my kids are the 2nd generation cruisers. We get them on our cruises whenever we can. Our next one though is just the two of us. WOO HOO.
