boba
Last Aug. in Miami boarding Freedom of the Seas it took us 30 - 40 mins. from arrival to on the ship. The sooner you get on the ship the sooner the cruise starts.
sailingrose
I think most of them are on par for us. We usually get there early and are among the 1st on the ship.
55ChevyLady
Favorite Port - Cozumel we thought it was lovely we boarded the ship in Galveston in probably less that 10 minutes, we literally walked through each check point no lines anywhere...I know we just happened to arrive at the most perfect time, but all my friends who had taken cruises had told me about the LONG lines and I was expecting them. It was amazing!
TheSkipper
Cruise Question of the Day - Sunday, June 15, 2008 Do you prefer traditional or "anytime" dining on your cruises??
TheSkipper
We are still traditional fans with large table preference. Enjoy meeting and getting to know our fellow cruisers.

PATJUD
Do you prefer traditional or "anytime" dining on your cruises?? I LOVE meals in the dining rooms on a cruise. I really do not enjoy the buffet lines on the upper deck - too much confusion, too many people, too much traffic, loud, kids, etc. I like the elegance of the dining rooms, I like the menues, and I like the meal presentation. I like a precise dining time - if I don't want to eat at that time because of other plans - I can eat somewhere else on the ship. I will eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the dining rooms if possible. So - LOL!!! - I guess that makes me "TRADITIONAL" when it comes to dining. deb1220
I do like to eat dinner in the dining rooms - not the buffet! When I'm on a ship with Anytime Dining I choose that as my dining choice just for convenience sake. If I'm on a ship with Traditional only I happily dine that way. I do enjoy meeting other people at our assigned table but also enjoy meeting different people each night. I guess that makes me 60/40 for Anytime/Traditional

hazelson
Traditional - like getting to know our dining room team. Best port re:embarkation so far has been Vancouver for the Sapphire Princess repositioning cruise...walked out of the limo into the terminal and within minutes we were on board. I kept thinking - "ok we walk through here and there will be a line" but nothing LOL.
