kccruisin
I'm partial to the Port of Galveston because of it's close proximity and this eliminates airlines.
cruisetarp
I love to "people watch", try my luck in the Casino and spend some time in the Piano Bar or playing Trivia
sailingrose
Cruise Question of the Day - June 16, 2008 Other that eating, what are your favorite on-board activities?? People watching by day, casino by night or if I'm losing piano bar.
TheSkipper
Cruise Question of the Day - Tuesday, June 17, 2008: Do you usually attend the Port Shopping Lectures?
rogue
We have when we first started cruising, but usually don't anymore. If you go to the Caribbean, most of the shops are the same in every port.
sailingrose
Like Howard we used to but most ports are repeats for us too. Also now you can watch it on the TV if you really want to see it.
cruisetarp
No - too many other things going on and besides as Howard said most of the ports have the same shops
deb1220
No, never been to one. I don't want to waste my time. I think I've caught glimpses of them on the stateroom TV but never in person.
TheSkipper
Back in our early days of cruising we went to a couple, since then we have not bothered. And, as mentioned you can always catch it on the stateroom TV.
Suzila
When we first started cruising, we tried to attend whatever lectures they had. But I don't usually shop while I'm on a cruise; we're too busy doing all sorts of adventurous excursions. So, no need to attend the shopping lectures.
