Well, this isn't actually a 'port of call', but I'd have to say going through the locks of the Panama Canal was my very favorite thing to do on a ship.

If it has to be an actual port, then probably the Big Island of Hawaii or Kauai.

This is very interesting...of course, it depends on what you like to do when you're in port, but Cozumel is one of my least favorite places to go. I see a few of you named Cozumel as a favorite. We're not beach people so we found little to do on Cozumel.

What, where and on which ship was your best boarding experience?

That would have been on the Original Century.... Our first Celebrity Cruise... From FLL we were on in a flash got an escort to our stateroom and a glass of champagn...

I think ours was aboard the River Duchess in Amsterdam. Walked from the bus onto the boat and the Captain carried our bags to our stateroom. But, Joey is going to tell me that's not a cruise ship, So, I'll list the Silver Wind out of Haifa.

Carnival Glory, Port Canaveral, last Sept. This was my Dad's first cruise. With him in a wheel chair they escorted us thru check in and took him clear to the ledo deck for lunch. We just tagged along and smiled!
