KeithnRita
Cruise Question of the Day - Monday, June 23, 2008 Do you attend the Production Shows when cruising?? We seldom attend anymore. They all started looking about the same. Instead we head to a bar playing live music so we can dance off some of our late dining calories. deb1220
We do, but don't always enjoy them especially when they're too amateurish.

55ChevyLady
Cruise Question of the day - Sunday, June 22, 2008: Do you take and wear "Formal Wear" on your cruises?? Our cruise was just a 5 nighter so I had a nice long cocktail dress, not a long formal, and a couple nice dresses and Jerry wore his good dark suit, what my Daddy would call his "wedding and funeral suit". Can't go wrong with that...
sailingrose
No to production shows Yes to Formal wear! I love to see the men dressed up and I enjoy looking (laughing, yes I'm bad) at the women's fashion. I always ask if they have a mirror in their cabins........ DebbieandJerry
"Spa" answer: Tried it a few times: hair updue on Princess; pedicure on Carnival. I have, however, won a number of treatments in the spa. Those, I must admit, were wonderful. And, the price was always right. Yes, the pitch to purchase is too much. Sometimes product will sell itself if you just leave it alone. Not on the cruise line. We were at dinner one night when the other party "proclaimed" that she had spent over $500 in the spa on face creams that she had to have. Jerry and I were amazed. DebbieandJerry
Men's Warehouse had a "gonga" sale on tuxes a number of years ago. James, Jerry and ALL of the sons, son-in-laws and partners bought tuxes. You betta ya. Marcy and I make our "men" dress up. That's a big part of "playing" dress up. As for gowns, I used to be able to squeeze myself into a couple. Now I find the tight form fitting outfit is a bit too uncomfortable. But, I do wear a dress that is formal, not form fitting. (Too many bulges that I would have to suck in, tuck up, hide away).
DebbieandJerry
I make it in to the Room. As soon as the lights go out, so do I. Sometimes I snore so loud, Jerry is embarrassed to be sitting next to me. Most times, I start dropping my head and it usually is to the person (whom I don't know) on the other side of me. I'm trying to stay awake for some of the productions. It's usually the "terrible ones" where I'm most awake.
