double-digit midget noun. A person in military service (especially during the Vietnam War) with fewer than 100 days remaining in a tour of duty.

In this case it means fewer than 100 days until our cruise.

Right about now (90 days before cruise) is when I start thinking of where I want to go "next". Jerry thinks I'm nuts. But, if you ever ask him where he's going, he'll tell you he has no idea but he's sure that it will be wonderful!
