When you start to book a cruise....

When thinking about booking a cruise...What's the most important aspect to consider for you and your family..

I do realize many factors go into making a decision.. I am looking for the NUMBER 1 reason you book the cruise..

We always start with the itinerary, and work from there.

For us it's the date........owning your own business requires crafty vacation times so we usually start there.

Since I have three kids.. two of which are in school, time frame is the most important. I have to make sure our cruises coincide with school vacations!

We didn't vote in the poll, because all of the first four are important. My vacation windows are very limited. Price is imprtant, as is the cruise line. Itinerary is also vitally important: for example, as I've written many times, we've given up on going to the Caribbean. I can't pick out any one factor as being most important.

You make a good point... it is tough deciding what if anything is most important...

I said itinerary but its a close call. Price is an issue too of course but so is the ship. That is we had done the so. Caribbean B4 but we really wanted to see the AOS and were not disappointed.

Actually it's itinerary first - we like to go somewhere we have never been before.

Always cruise line first. Don't know what we're going to do when they dry dock Caribbean Princess. We are going to have to choose another ship.
