Do you read on a cruise?

I love to read when I get a chance and always bring a book or 2 on a cruise. For Island flair I read Bob Morris, for Alaskan adventures, Sue Henry or Dana Stabenow. I also read the romance writers and some of the mystery writers.

I always have a book with me, everywhere I go...but how much I read, especially on a cruise, is

minimal. Thank heavens for audiobooks...one is on the minute the key is in the ignition when I'm driving...as long as they are unabridged. I feel cheated, otherwise. I prefer all the crime writers like Jeffrey Deaver, Ann Rule, James Patterson, etc....though, one in awhile, I'll do Maeve Binchey or someone else since, this forensic nurse needs a break from that stuff.

I love to read (about a book every 2 days). Sometimes I'm packing 6-8 books. Lots of variety, lots of fiction and non-fiction. On the last trip, one particularly fabulous read was LIVE, PRAY, LOVE (or whatever order it's in). Perfect book to read while on vacation.

Tony usually reads two books on each cruise. He's an avid reader and his favorite author is Wilbur Smith. Me on the otherhand.... I spend most of my time out and about and about all the reading I have time for is the daily paper in the room.
