Things to do in St. Thomas and St. Maarten

Debbie, What is Rhino Riding? We'll be in St. Maarten this November. We love to snorkel and do active things and see the sites. I'm not sure what else there is to do there. Any shopping that we just shouldn't pass up?

I will be going to St Maarten as one of our ports of call and am interested in what "Rhino riding" is? Sounds interesting....lol.

I don't know the name of the beach in St. Maarten, but we took a water taxi from the pier and it dropped us off right by the beach. The water was wonderful and warm. Loved the color.

In St. Thomas, we just wandered around town. Like one other commenter said, St. Thomas had a lot more pushy people trying to get you to buy stuff. Be careful what you buy and check for quality before paying!
