Have you Sailed on the Valor??

Hi All,

Looking at the Carnival Valor out of Miami for next May. Looking for comments from anyone who has sailed aboard this ship.

Ed, I sailed the Western Carbbean on the Valor 2 1/2 years ago. The production shows was the best I've ever seen on a ship. I was surprised how good the food was too! Only negative was the crowded top open decks thanks to what I thought was a poor design.

Ed, we have not sailed on the Valor but had some friends that did. They really enjoyed the cruise. Said the food was great and the ship was in good shape. This was about a year ago.

Thanks Guys. We have sailed the Glory which is a Sister and Rat I know what you mean about the top decks. We have been impressed with both our Carnival cruises over the last year. Steve, IMHO the food on Carnival has improved a bunch over the years we have been sailing on the line. :thumbup:

Looks like this will be our selection for May 2009 after Roe's Class Reunion in northern NJ.

We haven't siled on the Valor or any other Carnival ship. However, six people who have sailed on her have posted reviews on the reviews section of the board. Why not read the reviews?

Hi John,

Thanks for the great review. We have sailed on the Glory which I think is Conquest class. We too are Platinum member with 11 past Carnival cruises behind us. Always here the same "I'll never sail on Carnival" comments as well. And, you are right most have never been aboard in recent history, if ever.

I think the Valor will be our choice. I want Eastern Carib. this time and I want to depart on a Sunday, so that narrows down the choices very quickly.
