mercedes
C'mon, admit it: You love to watch soaps. And you'd be tickled pink to meet the stars from such daytime classics as All My Children, Days of our Lives and As the World Turns. Now you can, even as you kick back on one of the Caribbean's most relaxing ships. That's right, Celebrity Cruises is planning another Soap Cruise, a voyage laden with the heroes and villains of all eight of daytime TV's top shows. The sailing on the Celebrity Century, the second of its kind, will depart Miami on Jan. 22, 2009, and include a cocktail party with the stars, autograph and photo sessions, soap opera trivia games and other events designed to get you, the soap-loving cruiser, mixing and mingling with your favorite soap stud or studette. Cameron Mathison, who plays Ryan on All My Children, will host the trip, and be joined by 15 other soap stars, including fellow All My Children actors Alicia Minshew (Kendall) and Jacob Young (J.R.). Other familiar faces will include Austin Peck (Brad) from As the World Turns; Brandon Beemer (Owen), Winsor Harmon (Thorne) and Lesli Kay (Felicia) of The Bold and the Beautiful; Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) and Jay Johnson (Philip) of Days of Our Lives; Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Greg Vaughn (Lucky) of General Hospital; Murray Bartlett (Cyrus) and Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) of All My Children; Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio) of One Life to Live; and Don Diamont (Brad) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael) of The Young and the Restless. The actors will mix it up exclusively with guests who book the Soap Cruise package on the Jan. 22 sailing, which visits Key West, Fla., and Cozumel, Mexico (for reservations, visit www.soapcruise.com). Be warned: The line says bookings made through other avenues will not include access to the stars.
cruisingcats
Boy, I would love to go on this cruise but we are booked for Feb 09 to the Mexican Riviera and can only to one cruise at a time. Sounds like it would be a lot of fun.
