I agree with Rose in that cleanliness (or lack therof) is a deal breaker. I enjoy reading the reviews but I don't base a desired itinerary or ship to change my mind based on them.

Cruise reviews are peoples opinions and we are all different. Just like critics reviews of shows, the information can be interesting but I like to make up my own mind.

I read them then sort of check out the demenor of some of the posters]. If they always complain then I know it's not the fault of the cruiseline.

The only complaint we have actually had was having a cabin over the teen club - awful noisy - day and night.

I think some people are easy to please and some you can't please at all.

So - grain of salt as well!
