Cruise Forums

I'm a member of three forums: this one (the friendliest), the critical board (for practical information and roll calls), and Luxury Cruise Talk. I joined the last one because, out of 5,000 Crazies, we seem to be the only ones who have sailed on Regent. On Luxury Cruise talk, we're the poor relatives: most of the people there take multiple Regent trips in high end suites. We need the practical information they can give.

I tried the cruise boards on Frommers and Fodors; but they're basically useless.

I post on three cruise/travel forums and do so for information exchange and to be sociable. This one is by far the most friendly. Thats the special attraction or value about the culture here. :thumbup:

I belong to one other forum but rarely even look at it! I originally looked at forums for info about ships and cruises and I'm glad I discovered 'Crazies'. This is my 2nd home. Sometimes you listen to me more than my own family-LOL :biggrin:

We were on our back-to-back in November talking about excursions. James was the one who said that there has to be a forum where cruisers could give evaluations not only on excursions but on cruises. He then delegated the "project" to me.

So, fast forward, I'm sitting in the kitchen reading the Cruise Travel magazine and lo and behold your website information was there. I immediately picked up the phone and called Marcy and James and told them what I had just read.

We have been members (well at least Marcy and I speak "on behalf of the boys") ever since.

Never really gave it another thought about looking for any other places. I like the folks that I have met so far. I enjoy the honest feedback that everyone gives. Why make a change if it ain't broken?

We belong to two forums - this awesome, friendly one, which I spend 85% of my time on and call home - I just love my fellow Crazies and spend way too much time here because of that fact. Then we belong to the ugly sister, the critical one... where we get a lot of the practical information from.

One of these days we'll have enough members here to answer every possible question, and won't need to leave this board for anything!
