hazelson
My pet peeve is those $%^&* people who, on the last day of the cruise, decide to have the tips removed from their account because they wouldn't have enough to cover their bar/spa/photo bill otherwise. They all say the same thing - "we would rather tip in cash!" Give me a break. Tip EXTRA in cash just because it feels so great to treat those wonderful people right. But don't bilk them. And we all know they are doing just that. That rant felt good!
TheSkipper
I agree with all the peeves already posted. Jenn, before they started adding tips to your bill, you could count on the "no shows" on the last night of the cruise to avoid the wait staff on Tip NIght. The seat saving thing can really get out of hand. We've seen three or four ladies try and save an entire center row of about 30 seats. Give me a break. boba
People who cut in line And I agree with you, Howard. Keep the fares low and I'll decide what to pay extra for. We don't get many extras. The basic cruise itself is pretty cool for us.
Rat
I try not to let little things bother me when I'm on a cruise. But if I had to pick a pet peeve, it would be rude people who cut in line.
lashl
I agree with all of you. Rude people are the worst. Debbie, you mean you are not supposed to push all the buttons on the elevator? Our cruise last year with Dad in the wheelchair everyone was very nice and curtious to him except one gentleman who just had to get on the elevator before my Dad. He and Dad were surprised when I pinned hthe gentleman in the corner of the elvator with the wheel chair. I was nice, I smiled at him! zebra
OK guys don't get mad at me.... please! You asked so I'll tell you. I can go absolutely nuts at the buffet with "old men" in front of us in the line who can't make up their minds as to what they want to choose and who are slower than slow. By the time you get through the hot food, the first hot item you served yourself is cold by the time you get to the table. I guess most of then are served at home by their wives and are not used to having to "fend for themselves" when having to select the food to put on their plates. My hubby is 67 and has no problem in making a quick decision in the buffet line - we've discussed this topic many times on board..... sorry, but you asked!! Just ask them if they dont mind you going around them because you dont want that food item and if they dont answer or say anything, then go around them anyways because you asked in a courteous manner, hey people go around me all the time and Im not Old!! boba
I know what I want. I just want so much of it that people go around me while I fill my plate.
