JoeyandDavid
If you woke up one day and your favorite cruise line went out of business... Would you stop cruising? Would you go to another line? and if so which one? or Does it really not make a difference..."because they are all the same anyway"? Inquiring minds want to know! (well actually just I do .. but I like to inquire )
jbond
Our favourite cruiseline is RCI. We choose a tentative itinerary and check to see if RCI has something close. If not we check Princess. So far we've always found one or the other doing the itinerary we want. So, to answer your question, if RCI went out of business, we'd switch to Princess. zebra
Well our answer is similar. Our first choice is Princess.... we check first to see if they do the itinerary that we're looking for and include the ports we want to see, if not we would check Celebrity second and RCI third, followed by Holland America. We're not really interested in checking on the others, been there, done that... and would only defer to them if all four of the above went out of business. Suzila
We don't have a 'favorite' cruise line, although at the moment we are leaning towards NCL because they are different. It wouldn't be much of a problem for us. We look at itinerary first, then dates. Lastly we look at price. We'll go with anyone who will take us where we want to go. JoeyandDavid
To answer our own question.. if Celebrity and RCL went out of business.. we would most likely step up to Regent.. if that option wasnt a possibility..and with NCL unlikely to make some some changes by reinstating traditional dining options onboard... we most likely would abandon cruising... as a regular vacation option.. sailingrose
If RCL was out of business I'd have to go on Princess. They are our #2 line.
cruisetarp
I can't really see us never cruising again if RC went out of business. I guess we would at least give some of the other lines a fair try.
rogue
Princess is our favorite, but that doesn't mean that we wouldn't sail on another line. If Princess went out of business, that would be a shame, but we would still sail on someone else.
coloradocruisers
Heck no. Please don't tell anyone, Joey, but I sort of "cruise around". I'm not proud of it, but I'll jump into anybody's berth. If they're going my way, and the price is right...well, perhaps I'll just stop there. boba
If RCCL went out of business we'd try others. We were on NCL once and it wasn't RC, but it was still a nice cruise. I'd also like to try other lines anyway, like Carnival, or HAL. And I would love to cruise on the Cribbean Princess, I just love the look of that ship.
