deb1220
Princess is our first choice also.....If they went out of business it wouldn't be the end of cruising for us. Our second choice would probably be RCI and then NCL......Have not been on any other lines - but willing to give others a try!
Shari2
Celebrity is my first choice, but we'll be trying Holland America this October, and I'd like to try Princess...I would keep on cruising unless the quality of all cruises got so bad that I wasn't happy, and that probably wouldn't happen to all the lines. I'd love to try Regent or Crystal, the Queen Mary2, etc. but most of them are a little pricey for us right now.
Joanandjoe
If Regent went out of business, we'd probably try another luxury line such as Seabourn or Silversea (or, despite the relatively large 900 PAX size, Crystal). Alternatively, we'd try another suite on HAL. Maybe we'd give Celebrity a third chance despite one so-so cruise and one lousy one.
DebbieandJerry
Coloradocrusier, aka Kevin, I have to agree with you. While we have our "favorite" line, we certainly are not partial. You have to look at this floating hotel as you would any business. It would be a shame if the entire business folded. Now if the entire cruising industry became unaffordable, that would keep me from cruising. But, for now, cruising is our vacation of choice. We wouldn't give it up if we didn't have to.
