zebra
Who has sailed to this port? Did you enjoy your visit and what would you suggest we do there? We are trying to get as much info together about this port of call. All suggestions would be appreciated.

TheSkipper
Jackie: We have done Antigua at least twice. Nelson's Dock Yard and Shirley Heights are must see areas. A very lovely island that brags that it has a beach for every day of the year. I think you will enjoy it.
JoeyandDavid
duh i just remembered our review.. here is the excerpt for st john St. Johns, Antigua was OUTSTANDING. Millers by the Sea, was perfect place to unwind, enjoy the Caribbean Sea water. We arrived by 8:30 am and for almost an hour had the place to ourselves. Once again, a lounge chair was only $5.00 usd. In addition, cab fare from the pier was only $5.00usd one way but our driver Elijah, asked us what time we wanted to return to the ship and was there at the scheduled time to drive us back for an additional $5.00usd per person. St Johns, is a lovely place where according to our driver, a person can purchase a home including land for approximately $110,000 usd

KeithnRita
Someone posted this article on our roll call thread on another site for our NYE cruise. This will be our first visit to Antigua and what's going on there is a little disturbing. Of course we have the same problems in our major cities here, including Washington, DC! http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/am...ise-883268.html
