A nice, cold beer and from the top deck where we can do the traditional wave to folks on the pier.

I dont drink at home but Annie lets me have several on the cruise, Mines mohita on the balcony, and when we are in the casino!!!

Our usual drinks are a scotch for me and a glass of wine for Rita, however for sail away we will try the drink of the day.

On our last three cruises, the sailaway beverage was the water we used to brush our teeth before going to bed. All three sailings (Amsterdam, Barbados, Vancouver) were at 11 p.m. or midnight, after we went to sleep. Not much to see at that hour even if you're still awake; and all three times we wanted to be rested and alert for our arrival at our first port at 8 a.m. or earlier the next morning.

When we are awake for a sailaway, we tend to have champagne or a glass of wine.

The sail away drink of choice is a Double Long Island Iced Tea for me and anything fruity and tropical for the DW.

Ah good question as always from you guys! Normally it's the drink of the day as proffered by the waiters before sail away time.
