If you have had the chance to cruise in Europe.. Which was your favorite port of call?

Croatia isnt that an amazing place... we havent been to Split but Dubrovnik walled city blew me away

On our B2B 4 years ago, almost all of the ports were wonderful. How does one choose among such goodies as Nice, Balcelona, Palma, Marseille (yes, Marseille), Malaga, and such small but nice places as Sete, Ibiza, Villefranche, and Portimao? They were all favorites, and we had wonderful experiences in all of them.

How does one choose among such goodies as Nice, Balcelona, Palma, Marseille (yes, Marseille), Malaga,

Marseilles is a great port. It was raining really heavily when we were there. We'd planned to visit thhe Chateau D'If (Count of Monte Christo fame), but the weather was so bad the ferries were shut down. We took the cute little train around town and then had lunch at a great restaurant on the waterfront. We sat under a canopy, in the rain, eating bouillabaise.

I also have more than one favorite - Santorini, Mykonos, St. Paul de Vence and the Amalfi Coast.
