cruisingcats
I to collect magnets. Usually get one from every port and one from the country visiting. Also I collect dolls so I pick one up for the state or country I am in. Dh collects hat pins and hats. Good idea, Joey. I think I will do that myself and get the magnets off my frig. cruisetarp
I buy a coffee mug from each ship I sail on. I hang them on hooks above my kitchen cabinets and have quite a collection. I also buy a gold charm from each port I visit and any other little gem that happens to catch my eye. hehe
Joanandjoe
We try to buy at least one article of jewelry or non-T shirt clothing. Then, whenever we wear it, we think of the trip. Aside from that, we try to buy things unique to the area: lithographs of Bermuda sights, Russian nesting dolls in Alaska, spices and hot sauce in the Caribbean, etc.

zebra
Yeah I didn't want to mention the diamond and gold collection We supported a jeweler in St. Thomas on 4 different occasions, he now acts like a family friend and sends up birthday and Christmas cards with notes in them. Too bad for him our shopping spree has ended......
KeithnRita
We also collect magnets from each port we visit and souvenir glasses from the ships. We put the magnets on the inside of our metal front door. We also have a set of complementary tiles from each of our Holland America cruises, except for the first one, which was on the old Westerdam. They start giving them to you beginning with your second cruise. We would like to buy a set from the Old Westerdam and have been watching on Ebay. DebbieandJerry
Spices, coffee, tea, cookies (that you don't find in the U.S.), marinades - that is what I love to find. Can't always do that, though. Mostly, we collect pictures and postcards. Sometimes the postcards that are sold in the stores capture pictures that we could not even begin to capture. We just add them to our photo albums.
