coloradocruisers
For some reason, NONE of the cruiselines have seen fit to establish a port in Colorado. I'm not happy about it either. so would the closet be Seattle, San Francisco, LA, some place else? Looks like Los Angeles is the closest at 832 miles. Galveston, where we cruised from last time, is 928. San Fran is 947. So, a days travel each way.

DebbieandJerry
Can't say that Tucson, Arizona is close to any port: LA, San Diego, San Francisco all are a plane ride away and none are easy to get to. Either there are very limited flights and times or there isn't a direct flight from Tucson to a California port.
rogue
Philadelphia port is about 30 minutes from me, but we've never used it. Cape Liberty is about 45 minutes, Brooklyn and Manhattan about an hour an 15 minutes.
TheSkipper
About 5 hours to San Pedro and 6 hours to San Diego
lashl
One days air travel to any of the above! Galveston would be the closest port, approx 700 miles.

Joanandjoe
Philadelphia port is about 30 minutes from me, but we've never used it. Cape Liberty is about 45 minutes, Brooklyn and Manhattan about an hour an 15 minutes. You must fly low if you can get from PA to Cape Liberty in 45 minutes. We live in North Jersey, and it takes us about that long - and that's when there's no tie-up on the NJ Turnpike.

I live right off the PA Turnpike near the Delaware River (Exit 6 on the NJ Turnpike), and go up to Manhattan pretty frequently on weekends. It only takes us about an hour to get to the Lincoln Tunnel. It is a bit slower in the summer, with the shore traffic, but usually go up early in the day (9 AM), and seldom run into much traffic.
