DebbieandJerry
Great pictures everyone! I answered pants/Glitter top because you only wrote "gown" and not fancy dress. We don't dress up in Tucson so getting gussied up is kinda fun. Back in the day, I would slink my bod in a black skin tight dress with a nice slit up the side. It took an act of Congress to pour me in to this outfit by day 5 or 6, though! I'm older (and wiser) and enjoy eating. Those days of skin tight are gone. I tend to wear fancy/dressy pants or long skirts with a fancy or glitter top. Ever since Jerry got his tux, that's all we pack for him. Makes it very easy. coloradocruisers
Great pictures everyone! I answered pants/Glitter top because you only wrote "gown" and not fancy dress. what the difference between a gown and a fancy dress? Could it be length? I always think of gowns as long, like something Scarlett O'Hara would wear. But what the heck do I know?

deb1220
I usually wear a "fancy dress" also - about mid-calf length, sleeveless or spaghetti strap. I guess I would also consider that a gown. That's what I checked-off in the poll.

sailingrose
IMHO a gown is to the ankles and below.........everything else is a fancy dress.
55ChevyLady
IMHO a gown is to the ankles and below.........everything else is a fancy dress. heck I don't know! I have about as much fashion sense as my Bassett Hound, Harley! When it came time for me to buy all my clothes to go on my cruise I went to Dillard's and got the best dressed saleswomen on the floor and asked her to "dress me" for my upcoming cruise. Cost a small fortune, but it worked! LOL
