lashl
On our last cruise in March the Gulf of Mexico was rough enough to make us 2 hours late getting back. They placed barf bags by the elevators. Luckily it did not bother us. I actually like it a little rough. Makes great sleeping!
rogue
If we hit rough seas I generally take a Bonine. Never been sick (knock on wood) and the Bonine doesn't make you sleepy like the Dramamine does. I wish we knew about the Bonine when my DH got a little whoozy! Do you know if they have it on the ships?.....because he went to the pursers desk and they gave him the Dramamine. There's only one time while on a cruise that I felt a little queasy - the ferry ride from Cozumel to the mainland - I just chewed some gum and that seemed to help! To be honest, I've only head about cruise ships giving out Dramamine. Bonine is an over-the-counter drug that's right next to the Dramamine in pharmacies.
