Norwegian Cruise Lines announced that effective January 1, 2009, service charges (gratuities) will increase to $12 per guest/per day.

These charges will be applicable to all guests ages 3 and over and for sailings departing on or after January 1, 2009.

I sure hope that all of that goes to the employees, and not just another way of getting some revenue. :sad2:

Hi Joey. Currently it is $10 per guest/per day. I guess I will paying more come February. Thank goodness I got the upgrade and price reduction.

Was hoping to try some of the specialty resturants but maybe not now.
