cruisetarp
A few years ago we were packing up on our last evening when I found a $1 token in one of my bags. Now you know I couldn't take that token home so I went down to the Casino, went to the first $1 machine and put in the token. I won $5. I then played 3 of those coins and hit for $600 - I was so excited - after they paid me off I still had 2 coins left so I played them (same machine, very next pull) and won $300 - I was gone from the room for less than 10 minutes and when I went back into the cabin I threw $900 all over the place. Jim was shocked as I usually lose, once in awhile break even but rarely win. It sure was fun - I still have the T-shirt I won along with the money
rogue
We don't gamble, but I worked with a lady that won $3000 on one cruise. That would be nice.

Now I know to gamble on the first night AND the last night. Thanks!

Howard, my goal on one of these cruises is to win enough to pay for the cruise. I did win $50K playing the Powerball, once; so I'm not without luck. I just need to learn how to channel it better. Yeah Kevin, just to pay for the cruise would be good enough for us. Maybe I should start to play the lottery also. I should get the numbers you play. Joanandjoe
We've only been in a casino once (out of about a dozen cruises). Joan decided to play blackjack until she won or lost $25, It took about 10 minutes to lose $25, and that was it for our casino experience. I've never gambled a penny at a casino, whether on land or on a ship. I might add that I've had about 10 business trips to a hotel with a casino (and two tryouts for Jeopardy in a casino, but never got on the show), but have never been tempted to bet. hazelson
We usually do all right in the casinos on board. One cruise we came ahead about $500. But I did stike it rich in Vegas once - $10,000 on my first dollar in - I just about fainted LOL. But since then we have given it all back - probably several time over.
