boba
We usually gamble the casino coupon they give us. ($20 of tokens for $10) and that's it. I'd rather spend my money on those frozen thingees up by the pool.

deb1220
We don't gamble either.....but do play the lottery once in awhile - once won $2500!
zebra
J & J..... I feel decompressed when I get home....... but what I am going to do is make myself a salmon omelet tomorrow morning - I have to stay with the things to which I have become accustomed. The salmon omelets were excellent on RCI!!

KeithnRita
We play the quarter slots and allocate money to "donate" to the casino. Only once did we bring money back from our allocation. To us that was a win!
DebbieandJerry
Jerry and I love to gamble. We have our daily limits of what we will spend and do not deviate from that amount. Our very first cruise was a 4 day out of LA. Jerry was at one blackjack table and I was at another. The casino was relatively empty because the sea was very stormy (we don't drink so we really had no place to go - yeah sure). Jerry saw me sit at the table for awhile and then get up and walk away. I saw him sit at the table and get up and walk away. Both of us thought that each one had lost and that was why we left the casino. So, I'm waiting for him in the hallway. He tries to make me feel good by saying "it's okay if you lost". I looked at him and said, "No dear, I won enough to pay for the cruise." He then looks at me and says, "NO, I won enough to pay for the cruise." We have been telling that story ever since. Fast forward a couple of cruises. Jerry is at the casino and I am getting a pedicure at the spa. I am feeling a wee bit spoiled and didn't want to make any elaborate purchases because it wasn't in our budget. So, I left the spa with beautiful feet and told the lady that if I could afford the products, I'd be back. I go looking for Jerry at the casino. He's sitting at the Caribbean Stud Table. I had no idea how the game was played. But he kept putting this coin in a slot. I sat down to watch (and eventually play), and made the snide comment of "Why do you make that sucker bet?" No sooner were those words out of his mouth that he lays his cards on the table and has won a couple of thousand of dollars (because of that sucker bet and beating the dealer's hand). Here's the kicker, the bit boss comes to pay Jerry and I have my hand out to collect the money. After the bit boss gives me the money, Jerry turns and says, "Why did you give my money to that lady? I never saw her before in my life?" We have enjoyed BINGO, blackjack, Caribbean Poker, Roulette and ocassional slots. This last cruise is the only one where I recall not playing any casino games and Jerry losing the entire time. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come. He did promise last night that if he was on a losing streak in March, he will not sit and continue playing. I asked if I could have that statement in writing. TheSkipper
Being from Las Vegas, the casino is not a big deal for us. We seldom play, I had too many ex-dealers working for me and never met one who played recreationaly, and they could count cards a heck of a lot faster than I can. I've never been in the Wynn Resort, and that one was named for me.
