sailingrose
I'm thinking that this type of a cutback may not actually help as much as they think. I would think that Canada cruises have lots of Northeast cruisers, and living up here, one of the places you can drive to is New England. Going up to Canada is quite a bit further to drive. I know they will still get people who just want to cruise (do you blame them?), and people flying in from other areas from the country, but to fill a ship the size of the EOS, I would think they need to get quite a few Northeast cruisers. This may be difficult with itineraries that just go to New England. If they don't fill the ship, then the price will drop anyway and they'll lose money that way. I know I'm not an expert in this, but that's what I'm thinking. That what I was thinking too Howard! You said it very well. Guess time will tell. Marylou some of the members got the old books and were able to get the free pictures. Guess when all the books change over that will be the end of it.......Howie also thought the variety of food in the Windjammer was lacking something too.
